One Accord Prayer Group

The “One Accord Prayer Group” zoom meetings are a group of Bible-believing Christians who regularly gather via zoom meetings. This will be a time of bible exposition, simple hermeneutics, and scriptural discourse to rightly divided the Word of Truth; we will then proceed to exercise our faith and understanding through the power of prayer. And by applying all biblical authority (and in obedience to our call), we will confront those perpetual spiritual designs that commonly destroy the family unit, the church, and the nation.

Why is praying on ‘one accord’ so important? Because of its proven successes. Take the storied examples of the apostles in prayer (Acts 1;14, 4:31), and most notably, Peter’s great prison escape (Acts 12:5-16). The goal of the One Accord Prayer Group is to commit to the labor of producing the biblical results of what has already been accomplished through Jesus Christ.

Although our new proposed start date and time is yet to be determined, the One Accord Prayer Group zoom meetings will be a 90-minute session held weekly. These interactive zoom meetings will benefit any committed Christian. As a group of believers, we will be as one to motivate one another as we fulfill “the law of Christ” of “bearing one another’s burdens” (Galatians 6:1-2).

The Importance of One Accord Prayer Group Meetings

“One Accord Prayer Group” meetings will serve as a solution to the dilemma of prayerlessness that demoralizes and hinders the Children of God in witnessing the victories that come only by empowered knowledgeable prayer.
Within Christendom, unfortunately, prayer is the least practiced activity in most churches and homes. Yet, God’s Word has not changed . Did He not say in the following scriptures: (Mark 11:17),Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer, but ye have made it a den of thieves, (Psalms 50:15) “Call on me in the day of trouble and I will deliver, and (Matthew 7:7-8) Ask, seek, knock and it will open”. Prayer is still the avenue by which God hears and responds to His people. Prayer should be the bedrock of the Christian life.

The vision of the “One Accord Prayer Group” meetings is for the participants to become recurring witnesses of the glory of God in Christ. When this does occur the participants’ testimony of Christ will spread, and God will strengthen His body and add to his church more readily.
